After biking over two mountain passes in the Pyrenees on Sunday, I treated myself to a mellow morning bike ride to the beach. I pedaled downhill toward the sea, passing structures–some beautiful and functional, some just functional.

In the suburb of Badalona, I saw a bike safety class, part of the regular school day!
Riding through cones along the sea, great to be a kid in Spain.
Or you might get to kayak during your school day.
On the way home, I noticed new bike-specific traffic signals.
